“Botany and more generally fauna and flora are my favorite fields. These universes are so rich that they are, at each stage of creation, a wonderful source of inspiration. I am nonetheless a true city dweller, and it was through my travels that I fell in love with the bustling life of big Asian cities. This excitement stimulates and excites me. The exuberance and folklore of the night markets make me dream, the beauty of the stalls becomes a kind of poetry of the ordinary.
